Nitish smells corruption after 28 months in office:RJD
Patna, May 07 (UNI) The RJD today said that exposure of corruption in road project after passage of 28 months of NDA's tenure was a ''glaring example of incapability and failures'' of Chief Mninister Nitish Kumar.
RJD national general secretary Shyam Rajak said the CM's ''incapability'' was "automatically proved" with the fact that Mr Kumar came to know about the prevailing corruption, commission practice and inferior quality of construction work in the road project 28 months after assumimg office.
''Each and every department is reeling under corruption under the regime of Nitish Kumar government,'' he said adding corruption and financial irregularities were at its peak.
Mr Rajak said his party had raised the inferior quality of construction work in the road project since the beginning and alleged that the agency engaged for the work was involved in corruption.
The people only want to get rid of waterlogging which appears to be a distant dream as the CM has "failed" to live up to his promisses.
