MP: Congress threatens CM of gherao
Bhopal, May 7: The Madhya Pradesh Congress has threatend to 'gherao' Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan if he failed to remove common people's problem of water and bread within a week.
MPCC Vice President B P Singh and party spokesperson Avakash Prapt said in a press conference that if BJP-led state government does not take any concrete step then they will stage a dharna at district-level.
The state was suffering from inetnse water crisis and there was no concrete policy against it.
''There are still 900 Below Poverty Line (BPL) people who do not have BPL card,'' they said and alleged that where card was provided then ration shops remain exhausted and vice versa.
The duo said that party would contest on every 48 legislative seats in all the 48 seats in next Assembly election in absence of any mutual agreement.
