AP: Public speaking workshop for politicians

Hyderabad, May 6: Ahead of the by-elections scheduled for May 29, city-based Media Junction has announced a four-day 'Workshop on Effective Public Speaking' exclusively for politicians from May 15. The classes will be held in the evening from 1800 hours to 2130 hours at Media Junction premises in Musheerabad.

Media and Public Relations Consultant D Ramchandram of Solus Media will conduct the classes.

''Though the training programmes are being conducted for the past four years, only in the recent past, it has been attracting a good number of politicians, especially young and upcoming politicians with few years of experience, who want to make their mark.

''Among the over several hundred adults whom the training programme attracted, about 70 are established and aspiring politicians. The number is gradually increasing. ''Enquiries from this tribe is gradually increasing off late,'' Media Junction Director Kalpana said in a release here.
