New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) The rising crime graph in the capital took another turn for the worse with three woman found murdered, including a 70-year-old woman allegedly by her servant, a 22-year-old by her husband and a teenaged girl by unidentified people, in the last 24 hours.
Nirmala Madan was found dead, with stab wounds, at her ground floor Amar Colony residence in south Delhi by her family members this morning, according to sources.
''Her body was found lying under a bundle of clothes.'' Police suspect her servant Badal, who had been hired about a week back and presently missing, was behind the murder.
Neighbours said they saw Badal along with two men in the area last evening.
There was, however, no confirmation whether valuables or money were missing.
While her husband and two sons had died, her two grandsons lived on the first and second floor.
The top floor was given on rent, the sources added.
In the second incident, the body of 22-year-old Shazia was found at her residence in Mohan Garden by the police.
After the husband Shiraj went missing for some time, the landlord suspected and informed the police which broke open the door of their rented accomodation.
The woman had allegedly been strangled by her husband who worked in a factory.
The couple had got married nearly five months ago, police added.
In yet another incident, the half-burnt body of a nearly 16-year-old girl was found in Janakpuri area of west Delhi.
Police said the body was found lying on the first floor of a flat of an abandoned building in Janankpuri's DESU Colony.
''The body has not been identified and the murder seemed to have been committed last night.'' While the body has been sent for post-mortem to the Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital, investigations were on.
