London, May 6 : Meet giant Great Dane Rocky who has landed himself a new role - as the stepmum of an abandoned fawn, Cindy.
Tiny doe Cindy was brought to a rescue centre on the brink of death at a few days old.
But the roe deer quickly developed a heart-warming bond with nine-stone Rocky, who belongs to a centre boss.
And, just in two weeks time, the pooch has all but adopted his little pal, striking a watchful pose.
"It's lovely to see. Rocky acts just like Cindy's mum," The Sun quoted Pauline Kidner, the founder of the centre in Highbridge, Somerset, as saying.
