Ghei to spearhead Indian challange at Beijing Open

Beijing, May 6 (UNI) Defending champion Gaurav Ghei will spearhead the Indian challenge as he looks to retain his crown at the one million dollar Pine Valley Beijing Open beginning here on May 8.

Ghei, who has won the event twice, will play with Prayad Marksaeng and Hirofumi Miyase.

Rahil Gangjee and Amandeep Johl are the other Indians in the fray.

Gangjee will take on Antonio Lascuna and Masatsugu Morofuji while Johl will face Hiromichi Kubo and Kang Wook Soon.

Former Asian number ones Thongchai Jaidee and Thaworn Wiratchant, Angelo Que of the Philippines, Lin Wen-tang of Chinese Taipei, Korea's Lee Sung, Australian Kane Webber and England's Chris Rodgers will also vie for the title.
