War like stores recovered in north Kashmir
Srinagar, May 5 (UNI) Troops today unearthed a hideout and recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition, including grenades, boosters and RPGs in north Kashmir.
However, no one was arrested, a defence ministry spokesman said.
He said troops of 41 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a search operation in the forest area at Pandodus, six km from Kalaroos in the frontier district of Kupwara, following a tip-off about a militant hideout.
After a long search in the woods, the troops finally smashed the hideout.
The arms and ammunition recovered, included 1500 rounds of AK ammunition, two 107mm Rocket, six RPG rounds, seven Booster, 26 Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) grenades, ten pouches and two Ponchoo.
