Patna, May 5 (UNI) The sudden storm and thoundershower today brought respite to the people of Bihar from the scorching heat.
The weather suddenly cooled down in the afternoon as strong winds started blowing and the sky became covered with clouds.
The local Met officials here said the mercury level dipped by one degree Celsius.
Met department sources here said the maximum temperature of the state capital was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature remained at 27 degrees Celsius. However, the maximum relative humidity remained low at 83 per cent, sources informed.
Meanwhile, the local weatherman predicted cloudy sky with thunderstorm during the next 24 hours.
