Question on murder, robberies not answered in assembly:AIADMK
Puducherry, May 5 (UNI) AIADMK member Om Sakthi Sekhar was surprised to see that one of his questions pertaining to murder and robberies was changed and not answered during question hour today.
To a question Chief Minister N Rangasamy said as many as 38 temple thefts were reported in the union territory in the last two years and properties worth Rs.3,18,707 was lost .
Mr Sekhar, who stood up to raise a supplementary question pointed out that his question was changed as he had posed a question pertaining to robberies and murders in the last two years here.
Speaker immediately intervened and said the issue will be looked into and a reply would be given to the member tomorrow and passed on to other questions.
To another question, Chief Minister said the adminstration would consider to impose a ban on plastic with more than 20 microne.
To yet another question Mr Rangasamy said the administration had cancelled the licence granted to one private distillery at Lingareddipplayam, which was defunct for the past 15 years.
The licence was cancelled on 21-10-2006, he added.
He said administration would take steps to collect dues from the Industry under 'Revenue Recovery Act.
