Quake rocks Pak Kashmir, Balochistan
Islamabad, May 5 : An earthquake of mild intensity rocked parts of Pakistan-administered Kashmir and Balochistan on Monday morning, but there were no immediate reports of damage or human casualty.
According to the seismological network of the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the quake's epicentre was fixed at about 250 kilometres northeast of Peshawar and its magnitude on the Richter scale was 4.0.
In Balochistan, the magnitude was pegged at 4.1 on the Richter scale, and it jolted Awaran, reported The News.
In Balochistan, the tremors were felt around 9:18 a.m.
