The second semi finals was expected to be a tough affair, but international Ashish Mhatre led his team admirably against Thane who had Maharashtra captain Jitesh Joshi and Prashant Chavan in their ranks, with Anil Patil coming with good raids and Sachin Patil laying good traps Raigad raced away to an easy victory.

In the women's semi finals veteran Gautami Aroskar used her experience to lead Thane to an easy victory over Nashik. Shweta Rane excelled in defence for Thane. The Nashik raiders had no clue as they kept on falling into the well laid traps time and again. For Nashik Sheetal Dane fought a losing battle.
