Kolkata, May 5 (UNI) Fast bowler Ishant Sharma believed that Kolkata Knight Riders can still make it to the last four of the IPL and said that Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar would definitely bolster the side in achieving the goal.
''We will make it but we need to give it our 100 per cent. I'm sure everyone is thinking on the same lines to bring KKR into the championship,'' Ishant told reporters here.
He said that Akhtar's return to international cricket would definitely bloster the side and bowlers like him would be immensely benefited.
On Ishant's acts of kicking stumps at Mohali and subsequent fine of ten per cent match fee, the bowler said that he would not repeat the same.
''I made a mistake at Mohali and I promise that it would not be repeated,'' Ishant said at a function, where he was made the brand ambassador of Zapak.com and Jump games of Reliance Entertainment.
The paceman, who conceded 21 runs in the last over that made hosts Mohali pile up 178 runs that saw Kolkata lose the match by nine runs on Saturday.
He, however said that in cricket there was up and down and one to has to adjust the situation.
