Bhusawal, Nagpur record max temp of 43 degrees Celsius
Jalgaon, May 5 (UNI) The heat wave continued unabated in Jalgaon district and Vidarbha region of Maharashtra today with Bhusawal town and Nagpur still sizzling, both recording a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius.
Jalgaon city registered a maximum temperature of 42 degrees celsius, official sources said. So far, four deaths due to sun-stroke have been reported from the district.
The high temperature, persisting since the last ten days, has affected Banana plantation, which is the main crop in Jalgaon.
