RJD fumes at Thakerays fresh outburst against Hindi speaking people
Patna, May 4 (UNI) Angry RJD workers over fresh out-burst by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena(MNS) president Raj Thackeray against Hindi speaking people, today took out a protest march here and burnt his effigy.
After passing through main thoroughfares of the city, the RJD workers arrived at Kargil Chowk and burnt the effigy of Raj Thackeray while raising the slogans venting anger over the issue.
RJD leader Khurshid Alam Siddiqui said it was most unfortunate that Mr Thackery continued to spit venom against the Hindi speaking people of the country despite widespread 'hue and cry' over the unsavoury remarks by him.
''Thousand of party workers will go to Maharashtra under the leadership of RJD prsident and Railway minister Lalu Prasad to celebrate the Chhath festival there'', he said adding the statements by vested interest arousing regional feelings were detrimental to the unity and integrity of the country.
