Natoinalised banks facing staff crunch:Khera
Ranchi, May 4 (UNI) All India Punjab National Bank Officers Association (AIPNBOA) general secretary K D Khera today said all nationalised banks were facing a huge staff crunch.
Mr Khera said more than one lakh posts were lying vaccant because of no fresh recruitment in public sector banks.
''Average age of bank employees including clerks and officers was limited to 46 to 48 years and there would huge scarcity of human resources if fresh appointment were not done'', Mr Khera warned.
Referring to CRR which was recently enhanced by the Reserve Bank of India, he said that it would definitely affect the interest rate.
Speaking about problems of bank employees posted in the state he said that more security arrangements should have been made in the banks premises in the extremists effected areas.
Mr Khera was here to participate in the 11th trennial convention of AIPNBOA.
