Gulbarga records highest temperature 40.2 deree celsius
Bangalore, May 4 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Hunsur 2; Nanjangud, Chamarajnagara 1 each.
Maximum Temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka; above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.2 degree celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka and Mainly dry weather will prevail over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
