Stern action against corrupt officials : Koda
Bokaro, May 3 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said stern action would be taken against corrupt officials and contractors engaged in developmental projects.
The guilty officers and contractors will go to jail, Mr Koda said while addressing a public gathering at Dugda area here.
Urging people to come forward and lodge a complaint against them, Mr Koda said people should directly contact the government to punish the erring officials.
Referring to developmental schemes, Mr Koda said monitoring of those schemes would be directly done from the state headquarters.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) president Shibu Soren said people themselves should raise their voice for development as it was their right.
Mr Koda ordered disciplinary action against altogether 88 government engineers yesterday.
