Patiala, May 3 (UNI) The Great Khali, the famous WWE grappler, is facing challenge from one of his own countrymen.
'Rustam-e-Hind' Palwinder Singh cheema has challenged him to fight with him under FILA rules.
The challenge came from Cheema immediately after Khali landed at New Delhi last night.
Palwinder Cheema said here last night if great Khali defeated him in wrestling, to be played under FILA rules, he would forgo his title 'Rustam-e-Hind'.
''And if I defeat Khali, he should be divested of the 'Maha-Bali' title,'' said Cheema, grandson of former Rustam-e-Hind' Kesar Singh.
Cheema, medal winner at Commonwealth and Asian games, said he would consider Khali a great wrestler only if he would win medals at Asian Games or at Olympics.
Cheema, currently preparing for Beijing Olympics, said Khali was a showman and befooling people by acting at WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment.
Khali alias Dalip Singh Rana (35) is the tallest WWE wrestler at 7 feet 3 inches (217.5 cm) and weighing 190 kg. His challenger Cheema (25) is 6 feet 5 inches and weighs 125 Kg.
