Rajasthan Royals willing to top the table

Jaipur, May 3: Rajasthan Royals, with their morale touching the sky, militant to prevail over Chennai Super Kings and top the eight team table in the IPL Cricket Tournament here tomorrow.

Rajasthan Royals led by ace leg spinner Shane Warne will go all out against MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings, which will arrive late in the evening today. The team has the local advantage and each member of the team is in good form winning four off the five matches they have played so far, said Darren Bery-coaching director of Rajasthan Royals to the newsmen.

He said that our top order was going great guns with Shane Watson proving man of the tournamnet so far with his outstanding performance with the bat and the ball. It is the most balanced side with Munaf Patel, Watson, Siddartha Trivedi and Shane Warne in the attack and Watson with Yusuf Pathan, Graeme Smith, Swapnil Asnodkar and Ravindra Jadeja in batting.

Replying to a question, Bery said that Chennai Super Kings is also a strong side with MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Stephan Fleming and Parthiv Patel in the batting and Makhaya Ntini, Morkel, Muthaiya Murlidharan and Goni sharing the bowling attack.

Chennai Super Kings were rated as the strong favorites in the tournament as they lost only yesterday to Delhi DareDevils after having won first four matches. On contary, Rajasthan Royals lost their opening tie and then maintaining their winning spree with four victories in a row. Rajasthan Royals were rated as underdogs prior to the commencement of the tournament but under the leadership of Shane Warne the team has done extremely well. Chennai now appear to be weakened with the departure of Mathew Hayden and Jacob Oram as they failed to achieve a target of 170 only. Chennai outfits can hope a much improved performance from their skipper MS Dhoni on the sporting SMS stadium track as he had blasted 183 against Sri Lanka in a one-day tie two year back.

There is lot of enthusiasm among cricket lovers of the town as lot of tickets for the match has already been sold out. The cricket lovers are expecting an exciting encounter here tomorrow.

Rajasthan Royals after beating Kolkata Knight Riders had a relaxing day yesterday and they had a straneous practice session this morning. The final XI will however be announced before the start of the match tomorrow. Chennai Super Kings will arrive late this evening and they will also finalise their final XI tomorrow. The match will start from 8 pm.
