Konkani writer Godubai Kelekar passes away
Panaji, May 3 (UNI) A well known Konkani writer Godubai Kelekar died in the Goa Medical College Hospital here last night after a brief illness.
She was 83 and is suvived by her husband Ravindra Kelekar, an eminent Konkani writer and Padma Bhushan awardee, and son.
She has written four books in Konkani, out of which 'Phultyo Kolio' has run into two editions. The book is based on parenting.
She had studied in Mahila Ashram Pavanar Vardha under the able guidance of Acharya Vinoba Bhave.
Her funeral will be held tomorrow, family sources said here.
