Bangalore, May 3 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Basaralu 1.

Maximum temperatures fell at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka, however rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41.5 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers weather bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forcast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely. Maximum temperature likely to be around 34 degree Celsius.
