Madikeri May 3 (UNI) Samajwadi Party leader S Bangarappa who had conspired with Congress and the JD(S) and contested against him in Shikaripura will bring back arrack in the state that was banned by the BJP when it was ruling the state, BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa today alleged.

Speaking at an election rally in Gonicoppal today, the former Deputy Chief Minister said the dreaded social evil which affected lakhs of village homes was banned due to the bold steps taken by him as the DCM.

He accused that the Congress and JD(S) conspiring by withdrawing their candidates, he said people would give them a fitting reply.

"The state will again go to bad hands if people vote for this nexus. Why did they not come to an understanding in all the 224 seats. If Congress and JDs wants to form a coalition government in the state again, where was the necessity for re election," he asked.

Yeddyurappa bombarded Congress leaders Veerappa Moily and Janardhana Poojary and said that they had stooped to very low level in throwing allegations against BJP by stating that they have stolen jewellery and statues at Ayodhya. BJP will not stoop down to such dirty level and it is going to lodge complaint with the chief election commissioner against them, he cautioned.

Urging people to vote BJP to power, he declared that they will introduce people friendly schemes and projects.

He assured people of Kodagu that his government will solve the problems of jamma land and provide ownership of trees. He will also encourage tourism in Kodagu.

Candidate K.G.Bopaiah, leaders M.W. Aiyappa, Ravi Kushalappa, M.M.Ravindra, Rajiv Bopaiah, M.B.Devaiah, Narayan Rao, district president Sunil Subramani were present.
