Priyanka Gandhi did not meet Nalini!

Vellore, May 2: Priyanka Gandhi's meeting with her father's assassin Nalini in a Vellore jail in March did not take place, if Vellore Jail superindent is to be believed. Yes, you read right!

When a Right to Information petition was filed in the Vellore jail about whether such a meeting had taken place, the jail superintendent replied saying no one met Nalini on March 19. But since then Priyanka Gandhi herself has gone on record to confirm the meeting and now the lawyer who filed the RTI application says he was lied to.

Nalini filed a plea in the Madras High Court on Apr 30 seeking early release. This plea came just weeks after her emotional meeting with Priyanka Gandhi. Referring to the meeting, Doraiswamy- who has been representing Nalini said, "When Nalini broke down into tears and sought forgiveness, Priyanka held her hand and said: "Don't worry. I've already forgotten everything."
