One killed in group clash, another body found in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 2 (UNI) A Dispute over a piece of land claimed the life of one person while the body of another missing person was recovered in the Kashmir valley today.

Official sources said one Basharat Ahmed, who was missing since April 27, was recovered at Batmaloo today They said two groups of people clashed over a piece of land at Beharabad in Ganderbal district.

During the clash one Abdul Ahad Sheikh received serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Police has registered a case, sources added.

They said police seized illicit timber and two horses of smugglers at Beerwah in the central Kashmir district of Badgam.
