Jeev at tied 4th spot in Crowns Tournament

By Staff

Nagoya, Japan, May 2 (UNI) Ace Indian pro Jeev Milkha Singh carded an impressive three-under 67 to finish at joint fourth after the second round of the 120 million Yen Crowns Tournament at the Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course here today.

Jeev, who was looking for his first title in more than 16 months is just one shot off the pace of leaders Ryoken Kawagishi (65), Steven Conran (66) and Satoru Hirota (66) with a total of six-under 135.

The tied ninth overnight Indian golfer started off with a birdie but lost his way from there making bogeys on the third and sixth holes.

However, the seasoned pro has wiped out the deficit with a flawless back nine that included four birdies - on the 11th, 12th, 14th and 15th to round off a fine performance.
