Illegal logs recovered in Doda

Jammu, May 2: Jammu and Kashmir Police today recovered a dump of 44 illegal logs from the possession of a local in Doda district, official sources here said.

Acting on a tip off, police raided the residence of one Hans Raj, resident of Bhella Thathri and recovered 44 logs, sources told UNI adding, ''the wooden logs included 20 of 'Deodar' and 24 of 'Kail' while the accused was absconding.''
