UP girl raped in school premises in Jammu

Jammu, May 1: A young girl hailing from Uttar Pradesh was raped by some miscreants inside school premises at Ratnuchak in Bari Brahmana area on the city outskirts late last evening, police sources said today.

They said a girl identified as Usha Kumari, resident of Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, who at present is putting up here along with her father who works in a factory, was kidnapped by four miscreants.

One of the kidnappers arranged keys of the Government Middle School from his relative, who works there as a caretaker, after which two of the youths raped the girl inside the school building.

''Both the rapists and their associates, were arrested this morning by the police parties from the hideouts on specific information,'' a senior police official told the sources.

Meanwhile, the girl was shifted to a hospital for medical examination and a case has been registered.
