TDP MLA faces protest from Congress

Palamaner, May 01: Amid protest by Congress youth activists, Telugu Desam Party(TDP) MLA from Palamaner, Lalitha Kumari, addressed the public during the Prajapadam meeting here today.

After the conclusion of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's speech in the public meeting, organised for Prajapadam here, Ms Kumari, who also addressed the meeting, faced criticism from the Congress leaders on the dias, while explaining the problems faced by the people here.

The State Health Education Minister Galla Aruna Kumari, charged the MLA for addressing the public after the Chief Minister's speech and alleged that she did not follow principles and decorum.

TDP, however, vehemently criticised throwing of newspapers by Youth Congress(YC) workers at the party MLA.
