SWR to run special trains for Entrance exams
Bangalore, May 1 (UNI) Southern Western Railway will run special trains to clear the extra rush of students coming to the city to appear for the competitive examinations for Medical and Engineering Entrance courses.
According to a SWR press release, Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur Special, which left Gorakhpur today at 1040 hrs would reach Yesvantpur on May 3 at 1400 hrs. In the return journey, the train would leave Yesvantpur at 2340 hrs on May 4 and reach Gorakhpur on May 7 at 0145 hrs.
The Hatia-Yesvantpur Special leaving today at 1835 hrs would reach Yesvantpur on May 3 at 0500 hrs. In the return direction, the train would leave on May 5 at 0745 hrs and reach Hatia, the next day at 1910 hrs.
The Howrah-Yesvantpur Special, which left Howrah yesterday would arrive at Yesvantpur tomorrow at 1015 hrs, while the return train would leave Yesvantpur on May 6 at 0745 hrs and reach Howrah, the next day at 1850 hrs.
The Patna-Bangalore City Special, which left yesterday at 1730 hrs would arrive at Bangalore City tomorrow at 1930 hrs. In the return direction, the train would leave here on May 4 at 2330 hrs and reach Patna on May 7 at 0400 hrs.
Nizamuddin-Yesvantpur Superfast Special train which left today at 0855 hrs would reach Yesvantpur at 0650 hrs on May 3. In the return trip, the train leave Yesvantpur at 2310 hrs on May 5 and arrive Nizamuddin, the next day at 1930 hrs, the release added.
