In a condolence message here, Mr Purohit said Ms Deshpande's death was not only a loss to the Sarvodaya movement, but to the entire nation. ''She was a torch-bearer of the cause of peace, and tried her level best to create an atmosphere of amity between India and Pakistan,'' he said.
