Srinagar, May 1 (UNI) Alleging that whole nation was under economic recession, the Jammu and Kashmir unit of Communist Party of India (M) said the poor was getting poorer and the rich richer because of anti people budget.
Extending greetings to the working class, the state secretary of the CPI(M) Mohammad Yousuf Targami paid rich tributes to the workers, who laid down their lives fighting Dogra repression in 1865.
The leader of the CPI(M) in the Legislative Assembly said unemployment is soaring and prices have been shooting up in the wake of anti-people budget.
He urged upon all those who stand for working class interests to oppose these policies.
Mr Tarigami urged upon government to stop victimization and police repression upon the workers demanding their legitimate rights in the Jammu and Kashmir.
He demanded implementation of labour laws to ensure democratic and trade union rights to the working people.
