Kalam to address first Bihar Science Conference on May 7
Patna, May 1 (UNI) Former President A P J Abdul Kalam will inaugurate the first Bihar International Science Conference here on May seven, being attended by about 300 noted scientists from around the world.
Official sources here today informed that apart from inaugurating the three-day meet Dr Kalam would deliver the keynote address at the opening session.
The conference,being organised under the banner of 'Bihar Brains', an associate of Bihar Foundation in the UK, would be attended by prominent scientists from Oxford University,University of Leeds, Max Plank Research Institutes of Germany,besides those from other top scientific institutes of USA and Korea.
A number of leading scientists from several top Indian scientific research institutes like Bhaba Atomic Research Centre and Indian Space Research Organisation would attend the conference to discuss aspects of recent developments in science and scientific studies across the globe.
Among prominent scientists likely to address the meet are Dr Ruxandra Sitaraeneu of MPRI,Germany, Dr Animesh Jha(Leeds University) and Dr A Kumar(Oxford Univeristy), official sources here informed.
