Washington, May 1 : Despite being under fire for her racy photo shoot, Disney still stands by teen star Miley Cyrus, with the actress set to perform at the 2008 Disney Channel Games on May 3.
Disney execs confirmed that the 15-year-old star would be performing at the concert on the finale of the weeklong charity event held at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
"Being the most famous 15-year-old in the world is exciting but fraught with challenges and exceptional responsibility," People quoted Gary Marsh, Disney Channel entertainment president as telling the Los Angeles Times.
However, according to E! Online when Cyrus was asked about how was she holding up after the scandal she simply replied "Good, thank you."
Meanwhile, E! News has reported that though the concert is getting filmed this weekend, the singing spot won't be televised until this summer, when it will air as part of the cable network's Disney Channel Games.
Others to perform at the concert include Jonas Brothers, the Cheetah Girls' Sabrina Bryan, Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams and Dylan and Cole Sprouse.
