Korba, Chhattisgarh, May 1 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President Charandas Mahant today demanded that the BJP government issue a 'white paper' on its three-day Gram Suraj Abhiyan.

Talking to reporters here he said common people did not benefit by Chief Minister Raman Singh's Gram Suraj Abhiyan. The reality of this Abhiyan could be gauged from the fact that the chief minister had declared to dig a lake in his native Thathpur village of Kawardha district but it was not yet completed.

''BJP is being worried over Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi's visit in the state,'' Mr Mahant claimed, adding that if state government did considerable development works in last four years then they must not bother.

The arrival of Mr Gandhi in the state injected a new zeal among the party workers.

On the formation of PCC executive, he said that there was no hurry in forming a new executive as the incumbent was functioning smoothly.

Mr Mahant rejected the charge of 'politicising' the Satnami community's Bodsara Bada dispute.

Satnami Guru was arrested on the charge of vandalism in a clash in Bodsara on April 12. At present, the Guru was in judicial custody, he added.
