Three killed, two injured in car accident in HP

Shimla, Apr 30 (UNI) At least three people were killed and two others were seriously injured after their car veered off the road and fell into a nullah near Luri in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh late last night, police sources today said.

Three people were killed on the spot, while two others were injured in the accident, which occurred near Luri, about 106 km from here late last night, sources told UNI here.

They said the two seriously injured, identified as Ritu Devi, 22, Khem Ram, 35, in the accident have been admitted to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) here where the doctors described their condition as serious.

The dead have been identified as Murari Lal, 47, Gobind Lal, 50, and Om Prakash, 45, they said.

The sources said a case has been registered and investigations were on.
