Tanla Solutions Q3 revenues jump 73%

Hyderabad, Apr 30 (UNI) Tanla Solutions Ltd today announced total revenue of Rs 147.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 against Rs 85.33 crore for the corresponding period last year, registering an increase of 72.51 per cent.

Net profits jumped 46.87 per cent to Rs 49.99 crore while Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the year ending March 31, 2008 stood at Rs 32.62.

According to a press release, total revenues increased by 18.68 per cent on a sequential basis while Year-over-Year growth in total revenues was 108.18 per cent to Rs 477.17 crore.

Net profit increased from Rs 92.79 crore to Rs 163.10 crore.

EBITDA margins stood at 46.83 per cent for the financial year on a consolidated basis.

In a statement, Tanla Solutions Chairman and MD Uday Reddy said, ''the last financial year has been fulfilling both in terms of exceeding our earnings expectations and expansions from a geographical and managerial standpoint.'' He also announced the appointment of Mr Adam Maxted to head the interactive TV vertical.

''We have identified mobile payments as another focus vertical and have appointed Jeff Spirer to head this critical portfolio. Jeff comes with over 20 years of experience in high technology marketing, business development and sales. I am also happy to welcome Dr N J Rajaram as President - Corporate Planning, who would be based out of Hyderabad.'' He said the company has constituted a Research Laboratory, which would focus on next generation networks, wireless communications and embedded solutions. Dr Kaluri V Ranga Rao has appointed as Chief Scientist, who would be spearheading these initiatives, he said.
