Hyderabad, Apr 30 (UNI) King XI, Punjab bowler Sreesanth, who was involved in a row with Mumbai Indian player Harbhajan Singh, leading to the latter's ban for hitting the former, is likely to miss the tie against Deccan Chargers in the DLF Indian Premier League(IPL) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here tomorrow, owing to flu.
''Sreesanth is suffering from flu and he missed his practice session today. We will assess his condition before deciding on playing eleven tomorrow'', the Punjab team captain Yuvraj Singh told reporters.
Replying to a volley of questions on Sreesanth, team Coach Tom Moody said ''the team is 100 per cent behind him. He is an asset to the side''.
Parrying further questions on Sreesanth, who had been spotted in tears after the match against Mumbai Indians, which the former won, the irritated coach said ''don't try to make a story out of nothing''.
Mr Moody also felt that there was no no need for Sreesanth to tone down his aggression on the field.''It is important he(sreesanth) expresses himself.
However, Decaan Chargers skipper V V X Laxman opined that ''everyone is there on the field to win a game. There should be a controlled agression on field. It should not become personal''.
Replying to another question, Laxman said his team was working out strategies to get the better of Sreesanth's bowling.
