Rich fare of young talent for Asian level karting challenge

Chennai, Apr 30 (UNI) Leading teams from the international arena, including Kartmore racing from Malaysia, Singapore Karting from Singapore, AMRC Karting from Sri Lanka and teams from Indonesia will participate in the second round of the JK Tyre Rotax Mojo Max Asia Karting Challenge to be held at Coimbatore May 3 and 4.

According to a press release from Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India(FMSCI) a leading karter from Finland would also be competing for Team Kartmore Racing from Singapore.

The hosts are also expected to put up a tough fight with a contingent of about 40 karters in fray.

The first round was held in Kotta Bharu in Malaysia. The third and the fourth rounds will be held in Indonesia and Thailand, respectively.

The competitions will be held in four classes : Micro Max: 8 to 12 years old Junior Class : 13 to 16 years old Senior Class : 16 and above Novice class : 13 and above- junior and senior together Among the Indian teams that would be seen in action are Amaron Scholarship Karting Team, Speed Rayo Racing, Mohites Racing and Meco racing. Rayomand Banajee, Ameya Walavalkar, promising youngsters like Parth Ghorpade, Chitesh Mandody and young Arjun Maini. Arjun Maini was the winner in the Micro Max category in Round one, which was held in at Kotta Bharu, Malaysia.

The qualifying rounds and heats will be held on May 3 and the pre-finals and the grand finale on May 4.
