Palamaner, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 30 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today alleged that TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu had ''diluted'' major election promises of party founder N T Rama Rao.
Addressing a public meeting here as part of the 'Prajapadam Programme,' Dr Reddy alleged that Mr Naidu had ''cheated'' the eight crore people in the state by ''diluting'' the election promises of Rs 2-a-kg rice scheme and total prohibition.
Claiming that he remembered each and every promise made during the 'Padayathra' in 2004 and fulfilled all promises including free power supply to farmers, he said his government had reintroduced the rice scheme for the poor.
It was also decided to supply edible oil at Rs 40 per kg and dal at Rs 30 per kg through PDS in a month or two, he said.
