Many join Bhim Singh in ''fast'' in Jammu
Jammu, Apr 30 (UNI) Hundreds of people today joined Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) chairman Bhim Singh in his 24-hour ''fast'' demanding justice for the people of the Jammu region.
Addressing a gathering outside historical Mubarak Mandi complex, the Panthers Party leaders criticised Congress-PDP government and accused them of corruption and discrimination towards people of the Jammu region.
However, the leaders also appealed to the people to observe a bandh against price hike and for the defence of the poor.
The fast will end tomorrow morning followed by a naked feet walk by Mr Singh through Jammu streets beginning 0900 hrs while Panthers party will also be launching a ''Gareeb Bachao'' Andolan from tomorrow in the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir, inviting hundreds of activists including teachers, lawyers, political and social leaders to fight for the masses.
