INLD slams Hooda for ''price under control'' statement
Adampur, Hisar, Apr 30 (UNI) Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) today lashed out at Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda's statement that prices were under control and inflation was not an issue in the state.
Addressing an election meeting at village Salemgarh in Adampur, INLD Secretary General and Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Singh Chautala termed the CM's statement ''rubbing salt on the wounds'' adding that while the people were groaning due to unprecedented inflation and continuously spiralling prices, such statements only proved that the Congress had no concern for the people's issues.
The INLD MP also accused Mr Hooda of ''making false claims'' on development in the state and claimed that the actual development took place during the tenure of INLD government only.
Addressing election meeting, INLD candidate Prof Sampat Singh criticised HJC candidate for Adampur Mr Bhajan Lal and said that the 'phase of Mr Bhajan Lal' and his policies of corruption and defection has passed away. Mr Bhajan Lal has become quite old and he is not in a position to manage Administration, he added.
INLD leaders campaigned in Neoli Kalan, Matrashyam, Kabrail, Bagla, Kelanwali, Kutiyawali, Chaudhariwali, Ghudsaal, Moda Khera, Mohabbatpur and Siswaal villages.
