For hiding a sin, 3 men in Kashmir killed one landed in Jail
Srinagar, Apr 30 (UNI) Three people landed in jail after they strangled to death a nursing orderly to hide other crimes committed by them in the Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said a report about a missing nursing orderly in sub-district hospital at Bemina Ghulam Nabi Sheikh was lodged in police station Magam in central Kashmir on March 19.
However, after a massive search, there was no clue about his whereabouts.
The spokesman said on April 17, a decomposed body was found in the bushes at Hokersar.
Later, with the help of an identity card and clothes, Sheikh was identified by his family members.
He said Station House Officer (SHO) of police station Parimpora, Inspecter Mushtaq Ahmed himself investigated and on the basis of technical evidence, arrested Shabir Ahmed and Reyaz Ahmed Dar.
They later admitted they were issuing fake appointment orders to unemployed youths against money. However, Sheikh had come to know about this racket.
Considering Sheikh a threat, Ali Mohammad along with Reyaz and Shabir, planned to kill him before he expose them.
They made a plan and mixed some pests in a wine bottle and served it to Sheikh at Narbal. He was also promised to supply a girl by the accused.
Sheikh was later strangulated with a rope and his body thrown in Hokersar.
Mr Mushtaq said in order to divert the attention of investigation agency, the accused made phone calls to one wooman from the cell phone to deceased.
