Two workers of Siris succumbed to burns
Hyderabad, Apr 29: Two workers, who suffered serious burns in the blast at Siris Pharmaceutical company, succumbed to injuries at a private hospital here today.
Police said Satyanarayana and Sattibabu, who suffered 90 per cent burns in the blast on Sunday, were immediately admitted to the Osmania General hospital. Later, they were shifted to a private hospital.
Meanwhile, the Cyberabad police have sealed the company premises, which was operating without a vaild licence, and related documents were being verified to know the actual status of the drug manufacturing unit.
Special teams were also formed to nab the company management officials.
A chemist V Rayapa Raju, present at the spot when the incident occurred, was taken into custody and being questioned, police said.
