Mufti ''mouthpiece'' of Congress: Prof Bhim
Jammu, Apr 29 (UNI) Terming Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed ''mouthpiece'' of Congress, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) chairman Bhim Singh today said both PDP and Congress are two faces of a same coin.
''The coalition partners want to intensify ''civil war'' in Jammu and Kashmir and we are committed in exposing the corrupt coalition rule,'' Prof Bhim Singh said at a press conference here this afternoon.
''Congress has anti-Jammu policies, whereas both, Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, are working on agendas to suppress the people of Jammu region,'' the JKNPP chairman said, adding that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during his two-day visit announced Rs 1600 crore package for the Kashmiri migrants but migrants of Jammu region belonging to Doda, Rajouri, Udhampur and Poonch districts, have completely been ignored.
However, Prof Singh said he would be having fast for 24 hours from tomorrow morning and would also walk, naked feet from the historical Mubarak Mandi Complex to Martyred Students Memorial via main bazaars of the City, on May 1 to expose the government policies to the people of the Jammu region.
''The Panthers Party would expose the state government for their connivance with PDP to implement Dixon Plan, 51 by creating an Islamic Republic of Kashmir on communal lines,'' the Panthers Party chairman said.
Meanwhile, Panthers Party would be launching ''Gareeb Bachao Andolan'' from May 1 to 7, to support the poor-class of the society and to force the state and Central governments to reduce the price rise and raise the minimum wages in proportion to the price hike.
''We have also demanded the constitution of a De-limitation Commission in the state but despite assurances from the Prime Minister, who chaired the meeting wherein it was discussed that the Commission would be constituted, the state government has shown no interest in forming it,'' Prof Singh added.
