Puducherry, Apr 29 (UNI) The Puducherry administration will set up a committe to examine the possibility of 100 per cent waiver of tuition fees for M Tech and MSc students selected through the centralised admission committee(CENTAC) Education Minister M O H F Shajahan told the Legislative Assembly today.
Replying to a question, he said financial position has to be taken into account as the government was already suffering due to waiver of fees for medical and enginerring students selected through CENTAC.
He said the legislators would be invited for a discussion before taking a final decision.
To another question, Health Minister E Valsaraj said the angiogram equipment for the Government General Hospital here purchased at a cost of Rs. 4,51,95,500 has not been made fully operational and trials were being conducted.
