Puducherry, Apr 29 (UNI) AIADMK legislator A Anbazhagan today alleged that his cellphone was being tapped and demanded an inquiry into it.
Making a special mention during Zero Hour in the Assembly, he said recently while talking over cellphone he heard some strange sounds and some of his friends told him it might be due to phone-tapping.
However, there was no reply from the government.
Mr R Viswanathan (CPI) brought to the notice of the House, the plight of students of the BPK College of Designs in Mahe region of the Union Territory, who were unable to sit in the examination due to some problems in the institution and sought the intervention of the government.
His party colleague Na Ra Kalainathan sought to know why the government was reluctant to initiate action against a government employee who allegedly abused a woman officer.
However, no reply was given to the special mention from the government.
