Guwahati, Apr 29 (UNI) The All Assam Students Union (AASU) today accused Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi of 'complete failure' on all fronts.
Addressing a press conference here, AASU adviser Samujjal Bhattacharya alleged that the chief minister has failed in all the fields, including education, governance, development, health and insurgency.
''The government is arrogant. It has done nothing to ensure development in the state, ''Dr Bhattacharya quipped.
The student's union also was peeved at the government's failure to stop killing of rhinos in the Kaziranga National Park.
''In the past one year 24 rhinos have been killed in the national park, two of which were killed three days back,'' he informed.
On the influx issue, the AASU further alleged that the state government had no intention to resolve it.
'' They have not sealed the boundary. Neither the NRC issue is solved nor the boundary demarcation,'' AASU general secretary Tapan Gogoi said.
He also accused the state government of patronizing extra-judicial killings by the security forces in the name of counter-insurgency operations.
