Pune, Apr 28 (UNI) Rain or thurdershowers are likely to occur at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Chattisgarh, Rayalseema and Karnataka.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha,Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Telangana.
Heat wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Uttar Pradesh and east Madhya Pradesh and at isolated places in southwest Rajasthan,Kutch, north Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha.
Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Manipur, Haryana, Punjab, Himchal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, in some parts of Jharkhand and in remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, north Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha. They were above normal in Uttarakhand, coastal Tamil Nadu, north coastal Karnataka and in some parts of Rayalseema. They were appreciably to markedly below normal in Assam, Meghalaya and in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, and were below normal in some parts of Orissa. They were normal over the rest of the country.
