Minor booked under Gangster Act; policemen suspended
Sultanpur, Apr 28 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh police administration was once again surrounded by controversies due to lax attitude of two police personnel, who had booked a four-year-old under Gangster Act.
Police superintendent D K Mishra had suspended the inspector Harendra Pratap Singh and constable Tajmul Hussain for laxity.
In the first week of April, a case of disrupting peace and harmony was registered in Jhau ka Purva village.
On April 20, inspector Singh sent a report under Section 110 to the court without making complete inquiry.
However, no action was initiated against them as they accepted their fault in court saying the report was dispatched by mistake.
