Fire in LIC building in Lucknow destroys important documents
Lucknow, Apr 28 : A major fire at a building housing the Life Insurance Corporation damaged important documents.
According to fire brigade officials, the fire on the second floor of Jeevan Bhawan broke out at 7.34 a.m.
Lucknow's Chief Fire Officer Aman Sharma said three fire brigade vehicles were sent to the spot to douse out the flames.
He also confirmed that a security officer Krishna Kumar who had been trapped inside, had been rescued.
The fire, he said, had been caused by short-circuiting of wires.
